Residential Interior Design
We envisioned the interiors of this sprawling apartment as an elegant personal sanctuary overlooking the dense city skyline. Our client wanted a calm, predominantly white home filled with plants, so we translated that vision to life with a soft palette of warm, earthy neutrals, blending timeless Indian elements with a clean, contemporary feel. Custom furniture played a key role, from bone-inlay units and a marble-and-brass dining table to solid wood beds and modular kitchen and wardrobe units, each crafted across India and reflecting our commitment to detail and craftsmanship. Styling added a layer of warmth and character through collaborations with homegrown brands and independent artisans for a handmade mosaic, Indian-printed wallpaper, and lighting. A personal touch came from repurposing our client’s grandmother’s heirloom Banarasi saree into a mirror frame and textile art, bringing in a sense of nostalgia and storytelling. Plants appear throughout, both as living greenery and motifs in mosaics, wallpapers, and art, culminating in a lush balcony and intimate library that we designed for moments of retreat and reflection. Every element balances heritage with a modern touch, delivering the calm, plant-filled haven just as our client wished for, a warm, personal, and timeless home.
