Sathya Sai Ashram, Brindavan | Entrance & Landscape
As part of the campus redevelopment, we redesigned the entrance and landscape for the Sathya Sai Ashram museum, creating a welcoming threshold rooted in sustainability and material reuse. The entrance features a handcrafted mosaic floor made from scrap marble offcuts collected from a nearby construction site, created with local tilers and masons to celebrate Indian motifs and traditional craftsmanship. Old granite rock off-cuts from a sculpture workshop were upcycled into a natural lily pond, a self-sustaining ecosystem that brings serenity and life to the space. A mix of native, low-maintenance plants completes the setting, forming a water-efficient garden that supports local ecology. Together, with the entrance and landscape redesign we thoughtfully connected art, nature, and sustainability in a setting that honours heritage and evolving consciousness.
